Eunicia Opris Peret, chief executive officer and founder of Excelstra, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in finance, consulting and wealth management.
Now nearing 25 years in her career, Ms. Peret has devoted herself to understanding finance, beginning as an international operations associate with Polaris International in 2001. She established herself further as a customer service representative with Regions Bank and a finance and operations leader with Opris Construction. In 2005, Ms. Peret shifted her focus to large firms, joining Ernst & Young LLP as a senior management consultant. After five years in that role and a short tenure as a program leader with Booz & Company, she took on the positions of strategy and operations senior manager and associate partner at Deloitte Consulting.
Ms. Peret was associated with Deloitte Consulting for more than five years and briefly contributed to MorganFranklin Consulting as the strategy and transformation executive director. In 2017, she was encouraged by her husband to take a sabbatical and consider what she wanted to do with her future. During this professional break, Ms. Peret encountered difficulties with financial advisers she was working with, including being given vague answers to her questions and feeling like her needs as a client were not being prioritized. Inspired by these frustrations, she recognized the potential for starting her own firm devoted to financial management.
Driven by that idea, Ms. Peret and her husband founded Excelstra in 2018. Since then, she has served as that company’s chief executive officer with a focus on wealth strategies and financial expertise. Through this venture, Ms. Peret provides her consulting guidance to clients while also managing the overall strategic direction of the organization. Excelstra targets underserved customers who are in need of help with investment and financial direction but who are overlooked by existing advisers and accountants.
Among her many achievements, Ms. Peret is most proud of the opportunities she has seized to deliver value to her clients. She notes one recent example, where her advice has resulted in a client saving more than $800,000 in taxes this year. Ms. Peret gains great joy from helping her customers. In addition to her primary vocation, she has held the role of managing partner at United Ventures US since 2017.
Prior to embarking upon her professional journey, Ms. Peret cemented the fundamentals through her education. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance with a concentration in marketing from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. Obtaining this degree in 2005, Ms. Peret graduated summa cum laude. She has further supported her business as a board member of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce since 2023.
Beyond her work uplifting others through Excelstra, Ms. Peret has found multiple other outlets to give back to the wider community. Most notably, she is the co-founder of the Atlanta Chapter of UPWARD Women. Standing for Uniting Professional Women Accelerating Relationships & Development, this group has nearly 20 chapters around the world and over 20,000 members. Ms. Peret’s leadership with the Atlanta Chapter reflects her support of the organization’s goal of aiding women in senior executive leadership roles across industries. She also hosts “Your Business – Your Next Level,” a weekly podcast where she offers financial tips for business owners.
Outside of her career, Ms. Peret finds fulfillment in spending time with her family, traveling, exploring mountains and reading self-development books. Moving forward, she is eager to keep growing Excelstra, with the aim of significantly increasing her number of clients. Ms. Peret keeps numerous aggressive milestones in mind. Her ultimate goal is to turn Excelstra into a billion-dollar company, an ambitious vision of the future that demonstrates her passion and initiative.
