Leveraging his previous success, Mr. Malik was affiliated with Giant Food for over five years, beginning in 2009. Over the next two years, he progressed from a customer service manager to a non-perishable manager and then to a perishable manager. As a regional sales supervisor from 2010 to 2012, he oversaw multiple store locations and supported teams in achieving sales targets. Mr. Malik was then appointed as a store manager, a position he held until 2015, where he managed profit and loss budgets and oversaw store operations, ensuring high standards of customer service.
Mr. Malik’s professional foundation was established during his nearly decade-long tenure as an assistant store manager at Walmart from 1999 to 2008. This formative experience provided him with comprehensive exposure to retail operations, laying the groundwork for his subsequent leadership roles.
Highly educated, Mr. Malik graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2008. He subsequently received a Master of Business Administration in international business from Strayer University in 2012. This advanced degree equipped him with a global perspective on business strategy and management practices that have informed his approach to leadership and operational excellence.
