Timothy Williams

Title: National Business Development Manager
Company:
Bosch Building Technologies
Location:
Phoenix, Arizona, United States

Timothy Williams, national business development manager at Bosch Building Technologies, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in technology and business.

Mr. Williams has developed his professional life across nearly 45 years. Graduating from high school during a time of energy crisis and high unemployment in the early 1980s, he chose to pursue a trade through vocational school rather than college. With that in mind, Mr. Williams became an expert in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC). He got his first job with Honeywell in 1981, returning to the company in 1988 as a technician and field engineer.

In 1995, Mr. Williams joined Climatec LLC, a company he would be associated with for much of the next 30 years. He initially worked for Climatec as a service manager, but the company’s then-chief executive officer, Jack Kucera, suggested that he shift into a sales position with McQuay International, a group represented by Climatec that specialized in HVAC equipment. Mr. Williams returned to Climatec in 2001, taking on the role of Arizona construction sales manager and assisting in business development for the company’s building systems division. In 2025, he was promoted to national business development manager.

Climatec was purchased by Bosch Building Technologies, an international company that helps design and implement new technologies in buildings, in 2015. This led to Mr. Williams moving into his current position as national business development manager at Bosch Building Technologies in 2025. He specializes in selling automation and interface solutions for large industrial and commercial projects, with such clients as universities, sports venues, hospitals and hotels.

Looking back on his time with Climatec, Mr. Williams notes the mentorship he received by the company’s previous chief executive officer, Terry Keenen. Through Mr. Keenen, he was taught to focus on servant leadership and working for the benefit of everyone in the company. This philosophy was highlighted during an early moment in Mr. Williams’ time with Climatec, when the organization found itself struggling in a highly competitive market where others in the industry were making extremely low bids. In order to avoid layoffs, he helped shift Climatec from an emphasis on open bidding to a focus on building stronger long-term client relationships. This successful effort improved the company’s financial outlook in a way that served everyone working there.

Before venturing onto his vocational path, Mr. Williams built up his essential knowledge through schooling. He completed initial classes in HVAC during his high school career, followed by earning an associate degree from the Scarlet Oaks Joint Vocational School.

A volunteer within his local community, Mr. William served as the president of the board for the Help Fill the Toy Closet Foundation for nine years. This nonprofit group holds events and toy drives for community members to donate toys that are then distributed to children following hospital procedures and treatments. Among other events, Mr. Williams participated in the Help Fill the Toy Closet Foundation’s recurring golf tournament and was able to witness firsthand the impact that the group had on children. As of 2025, the organization has raised more than $1 million in donations.

In addition to his career, Mr. Williams is happily married and a loving father to his daughter, Madison. When he’s not working, he finds balance through deep-sea fishing, relaxing at his cabin in northern Arizona and traveling to other countries, including Greece and Panama. Now nearing 45 years in his field, Mr. Williams considers his retirement as closer than ever. However, until he reaches that point, he looks forward to continuing his current role at Bosch and mentoring younger colleagues who will be taking on his responsibilities when he retires.
