Before stepping into entrepreneurship, Mr. Swanepoel served as the vice president and then president of an American company between 1994 and 1997. As such, he was responsible for overseeing company operations, driving business growth and implementing strategic initiatives that contributed to the organization’s success.

Mr. Swanepoel’s academic background has been instrumental in shaping his professional journey. He earned a Bachelor of Science in quantity surveying from the University of Pretoria, completed in 1981, followed by a Master of Commerce in business economics from the University of Johannesburg in 1990. Further enhancing his expertise, Mr. Swanepoel completed the executive leadership program in mergers and acquisitions at the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1997. He also authored the 2015 edition of “T3 Tech Guide,” the 2020 edition of “Swanepoel Power 200,” the 2021 edition of “Real Estate Almanac,” and the 2021 and 2022 editions of “Swanepoel Trends Report.” These publications have become essential resources for industry professionals seeking data-driven insights and strategic guidance.

Throughout his career, Mr. Swanepoel has received numerous awards recognizing his impact on the industry.
