Before stepping into entrepreneurship, Mr. Swanepoel served as the vice president and then president of an American company between 1994 and 1997. He earned a Bachelor of Science in quantity surveying from the University of Pretoria, completed in 1981, followed by a Master of Commerce in business economics from the University of Johannesburg in 1990.
