Since 2022, Mr. Jay has served as a principal product marketing manager at insightsoftware, based at the company’s headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this capacity, he collaborates closely with the sales team on sales enablement initiatives, conducts face-to-face training sessions to enhance sellers’ understanding of key capabilities and messaging strategies, and develops comprehensive assets and documentation to support sales efforts. Mr. Jay is also responsible for conducting market analysis, staying abreast of the latest research and analyst insights, and leveraging Gartner’s analyst reports through advanced AI tools to extract actionable data points. Additionally, Mr. Jay works with the partner marketing team to ensure partners are well-informed and coordinates with digital and social media teams to optimize campaigns across platforms, such as Google and Bing, refining messaging and targeting strategies.
Before joining insightsoftware, Mr. Jay held several pivotal positions at Relias LLC between 2014 and 2022. He began his journey with the workforce enablement solutions firm as an associate product manager of health and human services in 2014. He then served as a product manager for community health and children, youth and families in 2016, before spending the remainder of 2016 and 2017 as a product manager for community health and therapy at Relias LLC. From 2018 to 2020, Mr. Jay excelled as a product manager for acute care learning at Relias LLC, overseeing the development and implementation of educational solutions for health care professionals in acute care settings. He also had the opportunity to serve as the director of customer marketing in 2021 and as a senior sales solution architect until 2022.
Taking a brief hiatus from Relias LLC from 2017 to 2018, Mr. Jay worked for Straightaway Health Careers as a product manager. As the third employee at this independent spinoff of Relias LLC, he helped create an online certification program for certified nursing assistants. This initiative addressed a critical market gap by enabling organizations to train their own staff efficiently, helping fill open positions in skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities.
Mr. Jay’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in global studies from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned in 2013. His education provided a strong foundation for his global perspective and analytical skills, which have been instrumental throughout his career. Mr. Jay further enhanced his professional qualifications with several credentials, including a designation in pragmatic marketing from the Pragmatic Institute in 2014, a certification in competitive strategy from the Institute for Competitive Intelligence in 2018, and a certification in product marketing from the Product Marketing Alliance in 2020.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Jay has demonstrated a commitment to civic engagement and community service. He was a founding member of the board for educating and awareness at Relias LLC from 2015 to 2017, participated in the Fourth of July Firecracker Ride with Capital Cycling Club and contributed to charity work with No Kid Hungry.
