Tricia Arneson, vice president of business operations at Montera Infrastructure, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in business operations.
For nearly 20 years, Ms. Arneson has positioned herself as a leader in the world of business operations, initially focusing on oil and gas and later transitioning into technology and data centers. Her professional journey began in 2007 as an engineering consultant with KBKG. Ms. Arneson further established her credentials as a project controls analyst with Fluor, a senior project controls cost lead with WorleyParsons and a senior project controls engineer focusing on cost with Brinderson. By 2015, Ms. Arenson was eager to shift into the technology space.
Ms. Arneson’s first opportunity for that change came when she joined Walt Disney Imagineering as a senior project controls employee, focusing on project planning and scheduling. Unafraid of taking big risks, she left Walt Disney just two years later, assuming the position of program controls manager at Google. Quickly proving her capabilities in planning and operating data centers, Ms. Arneson was promoted to program manager and global data center commercial operations lead at Google. She demonstrated further courage by venturing into the realm of startups as chief productivity officer for Yondr Group in 2021 and vice president of business operations for Amp Z in 2024.
Since 2025, Ms. Arneson has served as the vice president of business operations for Montera Infrastructure, a developer and operator of hyperscale data centers. Her duties include ensuring that the organization’s operational strategy and business objectives are aligned. As Montera provides access to cutting-edge cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) technology, Ms. Arneson guides the company in prioritizing efficiency and growth. She has become known for her dedication, perseverance and hard work.
Alongside her primary vocation, Ms. Arneson co-founded West Wave Media in 2018 with her partner. This venture includes documentary production, nonprofit work, photography and video, primarily centered on impactful projects that support underserved communities.
Prior to embarking on her career, Ms. Arneson set a foundation through her education. She earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial systems engineering from the University of Southern California in 2007. As a further commitment to her field, Ms. Arneson has been active with important industry-related organizations. She maintains membership on the board of Infrastructure Masons, a nonprofit group that connects professionals working in the digital infrastructure field.
Well regarded for her contributions to the industry, Ms. Arneson has obtained numerous accolades. Most notably, she was named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders of San Francisco by Women We Admire in 2023.
Although her history has been marked by achievements, Ms. Arneson’s greatest highlight is a deeply personal endeavor. She completed a four-month journey from San Francisco to the northernmost part of Alaska. Ms. Arneson and her partner navigated this trek in a Sprinter van, despite no prior experience driving and limited access to amenities like showers. She points to this experience as an example of her resilience and ability to adapt — personality traits that have driven her success in her personal and professional lives.
In addition to her career, Ms. Arneson lives with her partner and three dogs. Her favorite hobbies include golf, mountain biking, snowboarding and surfing. As she looks ahead, Ms. Arneson is eager to find new ways to support efforts to empower and encourage other women in her industry.
