Israel Escamilla, founder, chief executive officer and managing partner at 7 Dozen Connections LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in management and international business.
As an entrepreneur bridging communities in Mexico and the United States, Mr. Escamilla draws on a multigenerational legacy of resilience and entrepreneurship. Born in Monterrey, Mexico, he joined his father in immigrating to Texas as a child. Once there, Mr. Escamilla began contributing to a concrete business that his father built from the ground up. These foundational experiences taught him the value of hard work and determination, while also instilling a sense of entrepreneurship that would guide him in the future.
After becoming the first generation to graduate from college in his family, Mr. Escamilla pursued a career in engineering, beginning as an intern in energy, power and natural gas and engineering management and operations with Tenaska in 2011. In 2012, he joined Procter & Gamble, starting his lengthy tenure with the company in the supply network operations management sector. Affiliated with Procter & Gamble for nearly 15 years, Mr. Escamilla gained experience in several departments, including raw materials purchases, packaging and capital equipment purchases, contract manufacturing purchases, and brand building purchases. In his final year with the organization, from 2024 to 2025, he served as a senior account executive focusing on professional cleaning sales, where he was involved with such notable brands as Dawn, Febreze, Mr. Clean and Tide.
Upon leaving Procter & Gamble in 2025, Mr. Escamilla founded his own company, 7 Dozen Connections LLC. He envisions this organization as a bridge between Texas and Mexico, with a particular focus on the San Antonio area. Mr. Escamilla aims to make 7 Dozen Connections the top marketing agency in Texas, while also emphasizing the company’s expertise in sales and international brokering. Noting that San Antonio is the fastest-growing city in the United States, he is committed to supporting job creation in the community, especially as a leader for the Hispanic college economy.
Mr. Escamilla’s performance in the field was born of his own academic journey. During his undergraduate studies, he completed a study abroad program in general engineering at the Universidad Americana in Nicaragua, followed by a program in engineering ethics and professional conduct at Texas Tech University’s Murdough Center for Engineering Professionalism. Mr. Escamilla obtained a Bachelor of Science in industrial and systems engineering with a minor in mathematics from Texas A&M University in 2011. Subsequently, he earned an executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, graduating magna cum laude in 2025.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Escamilla is a loving husband to his wife, Laura, who is also an immigrant to the U.S., but from Toronto. His favorite pastimes include golfing, snowboarding and attending F1 races, especially when he can take part in these activities alongside clients. As he moves forward, Mr. Escamilla has embraced the ambitious goal of becoming the most prolific millennial business owner in Texas. He aspires to operate more than 80 businesses in the state, allowing him to play a key role in helping others find meaningful jobs. Mr. Escamilla has also considered getting into politics in the future and running for mayor of San Antonio.
