As area director at TRIMEDX in Charlotte, North Carolina, since 2019, he oversees a team responsible for maintaining and repairing medical equipment across eight health care systems. In this capacity, Mr. Koenigshof manages the profit and loss for the clinical engineering department’s expenses, ensuring operational efficiency and fiscal responsibility. His expertise in team management is evident through his ability to nurture talent within his organization.

Prior to joining TRIMEDX, Mr. Koenigshof served as district manager for Aramark Healthcare throughout the Eastern United States from 2009 to 2019. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing multiple teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical technology services across a broad geographic region. His leadership contributed to the consistent performance and reliability of medical equipment services in numerous health care facilities.
From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Koenigshof held the position of clinical technology analyst at Aramark. During this period, he focused on analyzing clinical technology systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhanced service delivery and operational outcomes. Between 2004 and 2006, Mr. Koenigshof was director of clinical technology services at Aramark Healthcare. In this leadership role, he managed comprehensive clinical technology programs, guiding teams in delivering effective maintenance and support for critical medical equipment.
Mr. Koenigshof’s earlier experience at Aramark includes serving as a frontline manager in Indianapolis from 2001 to 2003, where he led daily operations and coordinated service teams to efficiently meet client needs. From 1994 to 2001, he was a frontline manager in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he developed foundational management skills and established strong relationships with both staff and clients. Mr. Koenigshof’s career began as a biomedical technician at Aramark Healthcare, gaining hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and repair. Before that, he worked as a biomedical technician at St. Joseph Medical Center in Fort Wayne in 1987, laying the groundwork for his future leadership roles.
Mr. Koenigshof’s academic background includes an associate degree in electronics engineering from ITT Technical Institute, earned in 1984. This technical education provided him with a solid foundation in electronics and problem-solving skills that have been instrumental throughout his career. He attributes much of his success to his ability to quickly analyze problems and provide prompt solutions — qualities that have enabled him to excel in complex environments and deliver exceptional results.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mr. Koenigshof is a loving father to two sons. He enjoys gardening, playing golf and car restoration. Looking ahead, Mr. Koenigshof aims to lead his team to continued success in challenging environments by providing excellent service to clients while working diligently to achieve cost savings.
