Among numerous other responsibilities, Mr. Pizzella manages large group tours ranging from 10 to 20 days, arranging transportation for groups of 40 to 50 travelers. He also hires and supervises tour guides and orchestrates hotel, restaurant and activity reservations. Under Mr. Pizzela’s leadership, Revamerica Tours has developed strong collaborations with European firms to facilitate seamless travel experiences.
In addition to his role as a leading figure at Revamerica Tours, Mr. Pizzella is spearheading the launch of an innovative online travel agency, Le Tour2.com. This new venture is designed to broaden access to curated travel experiences for a global audience, reflecting his commitment to sharing his passion for exploration and cultural exchange.
Before assuming ownership and directorial duties at Revamerica Tours, Mr. Pizzella built a solid foundation in the industry as a tour guide from 2010 to 2015. During this period, he specialized in guiding French-speaking Americans through diverse regions of the U.S. He takes great pride in fostering meaningful connections with clients and delivering memorable journeys tailored to their interests and backgrounds. Earlier in his career, Mr. Pizzella played professional rugby, which contributed to his competitive approach to business and his ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
Mr. Pizzella earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Palomar Community College District in 2014, which equipped him with essential skills to manage complex operations in the tourism industry. Many years earlier, he received a bachelor’s degree in economics and management with a specialization in economics and finance from the Université de Toulon in France in 1982. He also completed coursework at the Lycée Français de New York, laying the groundwork for his bilingual proficiency and cross-cultural understanding, as well as coursework in American Indian studies at Palomar Community College District.
Mr. Pizzella maintains active memberships in several industry-related organizations, including the International Air Transport Association, underscoring his commitment to professional development and networking within the travel sector. He has been notably featured in various magazines and brochures highlighting his expertise as a top tour guide for French-speaking visitors in the U.S. His work has also been recognized in several European publications, which have named him among the Top 10 Tour Guides in the country for French travelers.
Mr. Pizzella’s entry into the travel profession was shaped by formative experiences living between New York and France. Born in New York City, he relocated to France at age 14 when half of his family settled in the south of France. After completing his education abroad and gaining experience in the hospitality sector, Mr. Pizzella returned to New York at age 25, a little over a decade later, where he began working as a tour guide. Reflecting on his career, he enjoys the opportunity to connect people across cultures through travel and looks forward to continued success in helping others experience the richness of destinations worldwide.
