Ms. Rose is a distinguished leader in business continuity, cyber resilience and crisis management. Since 2024, as the owner and chief executive officer of Resilient Rose Enterprises, a company designed to reimagine resilience by providing a range of executive coaching and business consulting services, she has provided comprehensive services encompassing business continuity of operations, cyber resilience and information technology disaster recovery.

Among a range of responsibilities, Ms. Rose is involved in crisis and risk management coaching, professional and personal resilience coaching, leading workshops, teaching best practices and conducting organizational assessments. She is also recognized for drafting templates and plans, sharing industry standards, developing program workflows, performing expert-level analysis, and creating incident command and emergency management-based processes. Additionally, Ms. Rose engages stakeholders in contingency resource planning and conducts assessments, exercises and training to ensure organizational preparedness.

Before founding Resilient Rose Enterprises, Ms. Rose served as a senior organizational resilience program manager at Texas Children’s in both Houston and Austin from 2023 to 2024. She initially worked as a senior organizational resilience adviser on the business continuity program at Texas Children’s in both cities between 2021 and 2023.

From 2015 to 2021, Ms. Rose excelled as a regional catastrophic preparedness planner for the city of Houston. Her earlier tenure as a regional public health preparedness planner with the Texas Department of State Health Services between 2011 and 2015 was also influential in solidifying her reputation as an expert in public health emergency planning.

Ms. Rose’s career also included experience as an executive search consultant with Medpoint, LLC, a personal financial representative at Washington Mutual Bank, LLC, and a financial adviser trainee at Merrill Lynch LLC, now Merrill, and Bank of America Corporation. Among other roles, her earlier tenure included working in mental health care as a behavior analyst and psychologist IV at Richmond State School in Richmond, Texas, and as a behavior specialist at The Center Serving Persons with Mental Retardation (CRI) in Houston, dating back to 1998. She also contributed her expertise as an adjunct professor at her alma mater, the University of Houston-Clear Lake, in 2000.

Ms. Rose received an associate’s degree in social work with a concentration in chemical dependency counseling from Galveston College in 1995. She then attended the University of Houston-Clear Lake in Houston, where she received a Bachelor of Science in behavioral science in 1997, a Master of Arts in behavioral science in 1998, a Master of Business Administration in 2003, and a Master of Health Care Administration in 2008.

Beyond her education, Ms. Rose’s commitment to ongoing professional development has been evident through numerous credentials. Among them, she received public health informatics leader certification from The University of Texas at Austin in 2012, recognition as a level I COOP professional continuity practitioner from the Emergency Management Institute, now National Disaster and Emergency Management University, in 2014 and recognition as a level II master continuity practitioner in 2016, followed by certification as an adaptive business continuity facilitator from Adaptive BC Solutions LLC in 2022, and certification as a continuity recovery professional from DRI International Inc. in 2025.

Beyond her primary work, Ms. Rose has been a presenter at major conferences, including the Continuity Insights Management Conference and the DRI International Inc. Conference, since 2020. She has also held various roles with professional organizations, including the South Texas chapter of the Association of Continuity Professionals, the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Texas Association for Personnel Consultants. Ms. Rose also chaired the clinical advisory committee for the Regional Healthcare Preparedness Coalition under the Southeast Texas Regional Advisory Council from 2011 to 2024.

Today, Ms. Rose maintains membership in numerous professional organizations, including the Central Texas chapter of the Association of Continuity Professionals since 2024, the Emergency Management Institute, now National Disaster and Emergency Management University, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Beyond her professional pursuits, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to civic engagement through various roles for more than 35 years, currently serving as a mentor with the Disaster Recovery Journal since 2025. Additionally, Ms. Rose has been a regular contributor to the Disaster Recovery Journal since 2020. She will also be releasing “Resilience Reimagined” in January 2026, a work that reflects her expertise in integrating artificial intelligence.

Throughout her career, Ms. Rose has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in resiliency and tenacity, interpersonal communication across grassroots and technical audiences, strategic problem identification and resolution, trauma-informed perspectives and, among other areas of her field, adaptive leadership. She has also become known for engaging effectively across diverse audiences, from grassroots communities to technical professionals, while maintaining humility about her knowledge base unless prompted to share insights. Ms. Rose attributes much of her success to resilience and tenacity developed through overcoming adversity during childhood and adulthood.
