Before launching his consultancy, Mr. Iyogun was a GIS specialist for the Board of County Commissioners in St. Lucie County, Florida, from 2019 to 2025. During his tenure, he was instrumental in developing and implementing the Laserfiche system for the county, a project that had previously struggled due to a lack of clear direction. Recognizing the urgent need to preserve an immense collection of historical documents, building plans and architectural designs, Mr. Iyogun designed a hierarchical system that enabled online access to these materials, some dating back to 1930. His integration of GIS into the platform enabled users to search for buildings built in specific decades and view corresponding 3D plans. This achievement not only safeguarded invaluable records but also modernized public access to county history, earning Mr. Iyogun recognition as a leader in his field.
In addition to his primary roles, Mr. Iyogun is active as an AI music producer. A prolific creator, he has leveraged his background as a disc jockey to become an AI music producer, generating more than 700 tracks in six months using code that enables AI to compose lyrics, create beats and produce music independently of traditional instruments or artists. Mr. Iyogun has also developed an AI system tailored for semi-literate Nigerians that communicates in Pidgin English, helping users improve their English language skills. His creative output extends to documentary production and educational content shared widely on social media platforms.
Although he began his career in medical sciences, Mr. Iyogun taught himself coding. He transitioned into information technology, where he spent approximately 15 to 18 years developing programs and managing hardware and software projects, including assignments for the Nigerian government. Upon relocating to the United States, Mr. Iyogun sought new challenges in IT and was introduced to GIS by a mentor, a field he quickly embraced for its dynamic nature and potential impact.
Mr. Iyogun’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science. His technical expertise is further supported by certifications in cartography, structured query language (SQL) and Python programming language. These credentials have enabled Mr. Iyogun to excel in complex data management tasks and innovative software development projects.
Beyond education, Mr. Iyogun’s professional affiliations include membership in URISA, now Geospatial Professional Network, reflecting his ongoing engagement with industry developments and best practices. Deeply committed to civic engagement and community upliftment, he serves as a pastor and community leader, focusing on spiritual growth and social advancement while supporting philanthropic initiatives across Nigeria and the African continent. Additionally, Mr. Iyogun serves as a mentor and motivational speaker dedicated to empowering youth through values-driven guidance, leadership cultivation and purpose-centered inspiration.
Widely regarded as an expert in GIS and AI, Mr. Iyogun has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in both domains. Among his notable achievements was the creation of Àríyò AI, a web-based music player offering users a culturally rich experience through curated Nigerian music selections and an integrated Ariyo AI assistant. Designed as a progressive web application, it provides seamless installation on user devices for a native-like experience.
