From 2018 to 2021, Mr. Vasiljevic excelled as the chief executive officer at Anchor Marketing Services, Inc., in Los Angeles, California. There, he built a 30-person sales company from the ground up, serving small and medium-sized businesses throughout Southern California.
Earlier in his professional journey, Mr. Vasiljevic was a professional basketball player who played for BC MZT Skopje, now KK MZT Skopje, in North Macedonia from 2011 to 2016. His athletic career was marked by resilience and determination, particularly following a significant knee injury that required extensive recovery and training. Despite medical advice cautioning against continued play, Mr. Vasiljevic undertook rigorous rehabilitation and returned to compete at a high level, ultimately signing for two additional years with the team.
Mr. Vasiljevic’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from College of the Canyons. This educational foundation has been integral to his success in navigating complex business environments and implementing effective organizational strategies. Additionally, Mr. Vasiljevic holds a Heartsaver First Aid certification from the American Heart Association, Inc., obtained in 2010.
Active in his professional community, Mr. Vasiljevic is a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, reflecting his commitment to professional development and industry engagement. Beyond his professional pursuits, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to civic engagement. He served as a fundraising volunteer with American Red Cross Youth and has contributed as both an American Red Cross blood donor and a PreBorn! donor.
Mr. Vasiljevic’s dedication is complemented by numerous accolades throughout his academic and athletic career, including receiving first-place honors from the World Meteorological Organization in 2001. In 2006, he was selected for the Macedonian U-18 and U-20 National Teams in MKD Basketball. Mr. Vasiljevic was later recognized with an All-NCAC Honorable Mention for NCAC Basketball in 2011, as a Spanish League finalist with the EBA in 2015, and was named a league champion and cup winner with MKD Basketball in 2016.
