Recognized as custom architectural fabricators of commercial exterior and interior signage, environmental graphics and branded environments, Brown Enterprises relies on high-quality technology to support clients’ needs both regionally and nationally, offering a range of services, from Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant signage to large-scale building signs.

Among his diverse responsibilities, Mr. Forbes meets with clients, assesses signage needs for both interior and exterior spaces, designs and specifies room and hospital signage, and plans comprehensive wayfinding systems for corporate offices, hospitals and law offices. He also procures engineered drawings, secures permits and ensures code compliance.

Before his tenure at Brown Enterprises, Mr. Forbes spent several years as a project manager at a wedding album production company, beginning in 2007. In this capacity, he coordinated photographers and supported all aspects of album production, ensuring seamless workflow and timely delivery for clients celebrating milestone events.

His responsibilities included client acquisition, needs assessment, product design, budget management and full-cycle project execution. These formative years provided Mr. Forbes with a comprehensive understanding of the signage industry’s technical requirements and client service standards.

Mr. Forbes’s academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in graphic design with a minor in web design from Florida State University in Tallahassee, earned in 1998. His education equipped him with advanced skills in visual communication and digital design that have been integral to his success in developing innovative signage solutions tailored to diverse client needs.

Throughout his career, Mr. Forbes has demonstrated exceptional communication skills and organizational acumen, qualities he credits with being central to his professional achievements. He attributes much of his success to his ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike, a trait inherited from his father that has fostered enduring business relationships. Notably, Mr. Forbes received the coveted Vigil Honor from the Order of the Arrow’s O-Shot-Caw Lodge 265.

Among Mr. Forbes’s most significant professional achievements was successfully managing a nationwide rebranding initiative for TIAA Bank following its transition from EverBank. This extensive project spanned approximately 65 locations across more than 15 states and required the coordinated execution of over 3,100 unique signs within three months to meet stringent banking compliance requirements. The scope included exterior building signage, interior office signs, nameplates, building logos, and signage for security desks and lobbies.
