He is the founder and chief executive officer of RAMWAL LLC, a fractional business advisory service that supports startups, entrepreneurs and small businesses with a focus on minority-owned enterprises. Mr. Ramseur’s work involves helping these businesses lead with clarity, raise capital and scale with intention.
Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, RAMWAL LLC was established in 2026 to help new and small businesses acquire the strategic leadership and expert support they require to compete and grow in their chosen industries. Among the range of services offered are operational advisory, executive management partnerships, business compliance and financial advisory to bridge leadership gaps. The company also specializes in funding and capital readiness, including funding sourcing and navigation, as well as scaling services like strategic planning and process design and optimization.
Before launching his firm, Mr. Ramseur briefly served as a senior vice president at Banc of California Inc., a publicly traded bank holding company based in Los Angeles, California, during late 2025 and early 2026. He also excelled as a senior vice president at Auxilior Capital Partners in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, from 2024 to 2026 and as the head of risk management at Truist Bank in Atlanta between 2017 and 2024.
Mr. Ramseur’s earlier career included serving as a chief risk officer at Ally Financial Inc. in Charleston, South Carolina, from 2016 to 2017 and as a global chief risk officer for Siemens Financial Services in Iselin, New Jersey, for over a decade, beginning in 2002. He also worked as the vice president of credit and legal for the Great American Insurance Company from 1999 to 2001, where he was involved in risk management.
Mr. Ramseur’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in communications and business from Howard University in Washington, D.C., in 1992 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the college of law at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, in 1995. He also completed coursework in the Executive Master of Business Administration program at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, in Newark, New Jersey. Mr. Ramseur’s academic achievements have been instrumental in his professional journey, providing him with a strong foundation in both business and legal disciplines.
In addition to maintaining affiliation with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., where he has held several leadership positions, Mr. Ramseur’s commitment to civic engagement has been evident through his involvement with Platinum Minds’ Leadership Council since 2015. Previously, Mr. Ramseur served on the boards of the Archmere Academy and the Greater Somerset County YMCA.
Mr. Ramseur attributes his success to his strong work ethic, willingness to learn and take risks, and the support of excellent managers throughout his career.
