Recognized as the largest and most experienced team of fractional chief information officers and chief technology officers, the company serves as a premier information technology services and information technology consulting firm in New York City. From 2024 to 2025, Mr. Beer was a managing partner at Freeman and Clarke Inc., where he guided the firm’s strategic initiatives and operational growth before ascending to his present position.

Mr. Beer concurrently serves as an investor and advisory board member for Relate Research and Technology Company, a Boston, Massachusetts-based technology, information and internet company. He has been contributing his expertise in technology strategy and organizational development since 2025.

Among other notable roles, Mr. Beer enjoyed a more than decade-long tenure as the chief information officer at the New York Hotel Trades Council from 2012 to 2023, where he was distinguished by his efforts to modernize information systems and enhance digital infrastructure for one of the largest hotel workers’ unions in the U.S. Earlier, he worked as a filemaker project manager and developer at Mediactive Group in Paris, France, between 2010 and 2012, where he managed complex database application projects for international clients. From 1995 to 2010, Mr. Beer served as the founder and chief executive officer of Techknowledgy Group in Sydney, Australia. Mr. Beer notably entered the technology sector at age 20, by founding this company as a computer consultant and trainer, teaching individuals how to use the internet before expanding into managed service provider operations over a span of 15 years.

Mr. Beer’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Sydney, completed in 1997. This foundation in education has informed his approach to leadership and communication throughout his career. In 2012, Mr. Beer earned an equivalency certification for a Bachelor of Applied Science in computer science from the University of Maryland, further strengthening his technical expertise.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Beer is deeply engaged in civic activities and personal interests that reflect his commitment to community service. He has participated in numerous volunteer initiatives, such as singing in church choirs and supporting personal development programs. Alongside his family, Mr. Beer remains active in animal rescue efforts, having fostered multiple dogs over the past decade.
