Herbert C. Pearson, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Travel-EZ.com and Cre8 Ideaz LLC has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Entrepreneurship, Technology and Media Production.

Mr. Pearson’s career reflects a remarkable journey through the evolving landscape of photography, film, video and television production. Since 2018, he has served as the founder and chief executive officer of Travel-EZ.com and Cre8 Ideaz LLC. Inspired by a pivotal moment at a technology conference in Rochester, New York, in 2013, where he first witnessed a telepresence robot being remotely operated, Mr. Pearson envisioned new possibilities for remote exploration and communication. This experience led to the creation of Travel-EZ.com, a telepresence platform that allows users to conduct virtual pre-visits to destinations using “human robots,” drones and wearable cameras.

In 2024, Mr. Pearson secured a U.S. patent with 38 claims covering the platform’s innovations, including its logo and the terms “Travel-EZ” and “Human Robot.” His leadership has focused on refining this technology, collaborating with patent and trademark attorneys to protect intellectual property rights, and seeking investment to expand the business alongside his partners.

Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Mr. Pearson dedicated more than two decades to federal service. From 2010 to 2026, he served as a program manager for the U.S. Federal Government in Springfield, Virginia, including over 15 years with a top-secret clearance at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Mr. Pearson’s tenure was marked by recognition for his contributions to national security and multimedia production.

Among Mr. Pearson’s other noteworthy roles, he worked as a senior information technology (IT) remote site coordinator lead at the Naval Surface Warfare Center from 2004 to 2006, following his role as a senior IT project manager within the project management office at CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield between 2002 and 2003. Mr. Pearson also excelled as the owner of Mammoth Multimedia Inc., a retail store offering film-to-video transfers, video editing services and event crew hiring from 2005 to 2007. The store featured a presentation film room where clients could showcase their projects.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Pearson worked as a project manager for multimedia design and development at MAGIX Interactive and as a project manager at Visual Impressions Inc. A significant chapter in his career unfolded at Georgetown University Medical Center, dating back to 1983. As a division manager for television production, engineering and presentations at Georgetown Television Productions in Washington, D.C., Mr. Pearson managed dual budgets while leading marketing efforts that secured the studio’s place on the federal government’s qualified video producers’ list. This recognition enabled Georgetown’s studio to pursue federal contracts.

Mr. Pearson began his professional journey as an instructional design photographer, video producer and director at Gallaudet University in 1974. For nearly a decade, and funded by what was then the Department of Health Education and Welfare, he had access to advanced equipment and was able to collaborate with talented professionals to develop instructional design packages integrating photography, film and television for educational purposes.

Apart from his full-time professional commitments, Mr. Pearson chaired the task force for the International Symbol for Deafness from 1977 to 1980. Working closely with Gallaudet University, the National Association of the Deaf and the World Federation of the Deaf, he conceptualized and successfully implemented this symbol in 1981. Mr. Pearson’s efforts included lobbying worldwide, publishing articles, and providing photographs that raised awareness of deafness as an invisible disability. The symbol is now found in airports, train stations and public venues globally, a testament to his commitment to inclusion for millions in the deaf community. In addition to these milestones, Mr. Pearson was appointed to the Cable Television Commission of Prince George’s County by County Executive Larry Hogan Sr. in 1978, further demonstrating his engagement with technological advancement in communications.

Mr. Pearson’s academic background included earning a bachelor’s degree in radio, television and film, cum laude, from the University of Maryland in 1981, followed by graduate coursework in public administration at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., in 1983. These academic pursuits provided foundational knowledge that supported his technical innovation and leadership throughout his career.

Active via social media platforms such as LinkedIn to support industry engagement, Mr. Pearson is also civically engaged. Most notably, he has served as a sign language interpreter for friends within the deaf community, further reflecting his commitment to accessibility.

Mr. Pearson’s creative output has included numerous projects spanning photography, film production and business branding initiatives. His major accomplishments have included securing patents for an office product called CardKeepR in 1990 and for Travel-EZ.com in 2024.

Throughout his career, Mr. Pearson has witnessed profound changes in his field, from the transition of photography from film to digital formats to the miniaturization of cameras now ubiquitous on mobile devices. Praised for achieving mastery across disciplines, his expertise has spanned photography, film production, business logo creation and trademark development.

In recognition of Mr. Pearson’s contributions, he was honored with a Meritorious Achievement Award from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency in 2012 and a Certificate of Appreciation in 2019. He attributes much of his success to encouragement from family and friends who nurtured his early passion for photography, including gifts that fostered his growth, such as a darkroom built by his father.
Looking ahead, Mr. Pearson remains focused on launching Travel-EZ.com with aspirations that it will eventually be acquired by a large conglomerate capable of scaling its positive impact worldwide.
