A serial entrepreneur with a career spanning over a decade in accounting, property management and hospitality, Ms. Tran has established herself as an expert in operations management, financial management, and training and development. Her journey began after arriving in the U.S. as an international student, where she discovered a passion for accounting that would shape her professional trajectory. Over the course of 10 years in accounting roles, Ms. Tran developed a comprehensive understanding of tax regulations and payroll processing. This expertise laid the foundation for her transition into entrepreneurship.
Ms. Tran’s business ownership experience began by doing freelance accounting work through Upwork Global LLC (formerly oDesk) in 2014. In 2015, she also became involved in property management as the owner of TCC Investments LLC in Kalispell, Montana. From there, Ms. Tran added hospitality to her portfolio as the co-founder and chief financial officer (CFO) of Blue Samurai Sushi & Grill in Kalispell in 2017 and Chi Café LLC in Kalispell in 2019. In between those years, she opened Flathead Numberkeepers LLC in Kalispell as the firm’s owner, offering accounting services informed by her extensive background in public accounting since 2018.
More recently, Ms. Trans assumed ownership of Scoreboard Sports Bar & Casino in Kalispell in 2021. As both owner and CFO, her responsibilities have included overseeing finances and guiding the business through changing economic conditions, followed by her role at Games N Taps in Kalispell as the co-founder and CFO in 2022. There, Ms. Trans has contributed to building a family-oriented entertainment venue while focusing on business expansion and team development.
Finally, in 2026, Ms. Trans became the co-founder and CFO of Mountain Prime Steakhouse & Lounge. In this capacity, she oversees company growth, provides training to managers and staff, manages financial and tax matters, and ensures operational excellence. She also handles customer relations, vendor partnerships and strategic planning with her team. Ms. Trans’s commitment to continuous improvement is evident in her proactive approach to learning from industry leaders and integrating best practices from other markets.
Before her entrepreneurial ventures, Ms. Tran worked at JCCS in Kalispell as a payroll tax accountant from 2015 to 2017, following her initial title of auditor in 2015. She also held an accountant position with PBX Change (now KUDUCOM) in the Greater Tampa Bay Area of Florida in 2014. Ms. Tran’s early career featured roles such as student assistant at Western Kentucky University from 2009 to 2011 and founder and manager of I<3 Chanel Shop in Hanoi between 2009 and 2010. Her initial exposure to professional accounting came during an internship with VINACONEX JSC in Hanoi in 2008.
Ms. Tran’s educational achievements have been instrumental to her success. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting at The National Economics University in Vietnam in 2008 and a Master of Business Administration in accounting and business management from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky, in 2011. Her commitment to ongoing professional development is further evidenced by several credentials. Ms. Trans pursued creative writing studies at Hillsborough College from 2013 to 2014, received a QuickBooks certification and payroll certification from the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers in 2014, and completed post-baccalaureate coursework in accounting and certified public accountant courses at the University of South Florida in 2015.
Throughout her career, Ms. Tran has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to professional growth and excellence. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers. These affiliations reflect her dedication to maintaining high standards within her field. In addition to her business initiatives, Ms. Tran is actively engaged with civic organizations and charitable causes. Most notably, she supports fundraising efforts for nonprofits benefiting underprivileged children and participates in various charitable activities within her local community.
