Growing up in Cuba, Ms. Carrasco was inspired by her parents to live the best life she possibly could. Following her graduation from the Universidad de Puerto Rico, she came to the United States and attended Towson University in Maryland. There, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication before attending the University of Phoenix, where she later acquired a Master of Business Administration in healthcare organization management.
In 1995, Ms. Carrasco began her career as a medical sales representative at Merck. In the years that followed, she worked with Sanofi, Acelity, and Aminox Medical. She remains at the latter organization today, excelling as the United States senior marketing specialist. Outside of her ventures in healthcare sales, Ms. Carrasco authored “The Evolve.” She is additionally an active member of the Women’s Leadership Network.
Reflecting on her multitude of professional success, Ms. Carrasco credits her perseverance and hard-working nature. Her parents made a number of sacrifices in order to get her the best education possible, which set a shining example of what hard work can achieve. She is consistently driven to make her parents proud. Ms. Carrasco never hesitates when she is presented with an opportunity, which consistently yields positive results. Looking toward the future, she is excited to travel to every state and speak to women about evolution. She wants to be an inspiration to women all over the United States.
