Bryan Kobos, Director of Security and Emergency Response at Sun Country Airlines, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in security management.
Since 2020, Mr. Kobos has provided superior service as director of security and emergency response for Sun Country Airlines, a passenger and cargo airline operating more than 100 passenger routes between 81 destinations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. There, he is responsible for security operations, TSA compliance response and preparedness, garnering a Safety Award in 2021. Previously, Mr. Kobos prospered from 2009 to 2020 as manager of emergency and security response with Endeavor Air in the Minneapolis-St. Paul region and as a manager with the Walt Disney Company.
After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in business and corporate communications in 1997 from Elon University in North Carolina, Mr. Kobos is pursuing a Master of Criminal Justice in justice administration and crime management with Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska. He holds certifications as a facility security officer and United States Government-TSA/DOD Secret Clearance with the United States Department of Defense.
According to Mr. Kobos, he reached heights in his career because of his partnership with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other government agencies to ensure compliance and safety for Sun County Airlines. A shining achievement in Mr. Kobos’s career involved starting an internal screening company for their charter flights, partnering with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and training their employees. Moreover, he served as a key figure in leading a response team for COVID-19 testing and maintaining the safety and wellness of the company’s employees.
In the coming years, Mr. Kobos plans to retire and venture into consulting, knowing that the demand for his expertise in his field continues to rise across many industries.
