Nigel Roberts, managing partner for Strategies for Stability LLC and independent consultant on conflict, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in economics and politics.
With more than 40 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Roberts has excelled as an expert in international development, economics and politics. Since 2012, he has operated as both an independent conflict consultant and as a managing partner for Strategies for Stability LLC. As part of his duties in the field, he works alongside various worldwide government agencies to develop initiatives that aid in the economic management of political and financial stability. Since beginning his career in 1974, Mr. Roberts has also worked with such organizations as the Britain Nepal Medical Trust and the Save the Children Federation Inc., and he has conducted most of his work with The World Bank Group.
Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Roberts pursued a formal education, studying and achieving several degrees at the Wadham College of the University of Oxford, including both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in English language and literature. Additionally, he earned a Master of Philosophy in agricultural economics at the University of Reading in 1981. Adjacent to his primary professional endeavors, Mr. Roberts also remains active as a civic-minded citizen, having most recently served as a senior advisor for the Afghanistan Peace Process Study Group in 2020. Additionally, he previously operated as a lecturer and journalist. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Roberts has largely attributed his success to his father, who helped nurture his interest in international development.
