Before this role, he was the managing director of AlixPartners from 2016 to 2021 and a principal of KPMG US from 2012 to 2016. Dr. Bergin began his career as an engagement manager for McKinsey & Company from 1993 to 1997.
In preparation for his professional success, Dr. Bergin attended the University of Sydney and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering in 1986. He went on to matriculate at the Harvard Business School, obtaining a Master of Business Administration in economics and finance. In 2001, he concluded his formal education with a Doctor of Business Administration in economic and finance at Harvard Business School. Dr. Bergin has been recognized for his achievements with numerous awards and accolades, including earning a Fulbright Scholarship to Harvard Business School. To keep abreast of his field, he maintains affiliation with the American Economic Association. He attributes his success to the influence of his parents, who raised him well and instilled good values in him.
