Allen Kent Kimball, Consultant with Trident Seafoods Corporation, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the seafood industry.
Since 2022, Mr. Kimball has excelled as a consultant with the Trident Seafoods Corporation in Seattle, Washington. Prior to this role, he was a senior executive consultant with Allen K. Kimball Consulting LLC in 2022, before which he served as the executive vice president of global operations and sales for the Trident Seafoods Corporation from 2013 to 2022. Mr. Kimball garnered further experience with the Trident Seafoods Corporation, serving as the vice president of catcher processors and onshore whitefish from 1999 to 2013 and the general manager of Alaska operations and sales for Tyson Foods from 1994 to 1999. In 1980, he worked as a fishery scientist with the National Marine Fisheries Service. Mr. Kimball also excelled as a senior executive with the Arctic Alaska Fisheries Corporation.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Kimball attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in fisheries management in 1984. He holds professional certification through Oregon State University’s groundfish forum. Mr. Kimball was appointed by Mike Dunleavy, governor of Alaska, as chairman of the board for the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute in 2022. Among his accomplishments, he is proud of his role in creating the fish auction system for caviar in the United States. He credits his wife’s support for his success, as she helped him become the best version of himself while caring for their five children. In the coming years, Mr. Kimball hopes to see more responsible and sustainable management of the seafood industry.
