With 35 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Webber has excelled as the president and chief executive officer at VR Initiative in 2013. Prior to this position, he accepted his role as the chief executive officer at Northeast Windows in 2009 and has retained the position alongside his primary responsibilities at VR Initiative. He began his career as president of Jim Webber and Associates from 1988 to 2009. Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Webber pursued an education at the University of Tulsa, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in architecture in 1968. He also completed his certification from Northeast Windows, a nationally certified veteran-owned company.
Beyond his duties within the field, Mr. Webber has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He served in the U.S. Army, including two years of active duty during the Vietnam War where he reached the rank of sergeant. Additionally, he has been active as a board member of a private school in New York. Mr. Webber also found success as a professional tennis player.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Webber has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was recognized as Businessman of the Year in New York and received multiple design awards for his window glass and glazing work. Mr. Webber was featured on “Good Morning America” for his contributions to a construction project in San Diego. He notably completed his college education on a tennis scholarship. In the immediate future, Mr. Webber hopes to ensure the success of Northeast Windows so that he can one day turn it over to his employees while maintaining VR Initiative for his future inventions.
