Prior to these positions, he was active in administrative roles with Calyx Containers, M+M Strategic Enterprises, Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, Herren Associates, Koninklijke Philips N.V., Accenture, American Power Conversion and Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. between 2003 and 2022. He previously served at PwC as an operations and strategy expert, managing consultant, and principal from 1995 to 1999 and American Superconductor as general manager and vice president from 1999 to 2002. During this time, he proudly helped to establish a new business division at American Superconductor focused on designing and marketing a novel line of high-performing electric machines, including both motors and generators. Mr. Mulholland began his career in the U.S. Navy, holding the rank of naval nuclear engineering officer and commissioned officer between 1982 and 1993.

To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Mulholland earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1982, a Master of Science in nuclear engineering from the Advanced Naval Nuclear Power School in 1983, and a Master of Business Administration in strategy and operations from Harvard Business School in 1995. Attributing his success to his stellar work ethic and his dedication to excellence, integrity and leadership, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career, including multiple military decorations from the Governments of the United States of America and the Federal Republic of Germany, an Olmstead Scholarship from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1982, the Independent Consultant of the Year Award from Accenture in 2006, Admiral Stan Arthur Defense Logistics Project of the Year Award from the U.S. Department of Defense in 2007, and the Sales Executive Overachiever of the Year Award from Teledyne Oil & Gas, part of Teledyne Marine Technologies Incorporated, in 2012. Looking toward the future, Mr. Maxwell hopes to continue finding success in his current role at Aetna Forwarding.
