Chris Wiley, vice president at Wiley Brothers, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in construction and real estate.
With over two decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Wiley has carved out a distinguished career in the field of construction and real estate. Currently excelling as the vice president at Wiley Brothers in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas since 2018, he oversees the renewal of leases, handles property-related queries, assists tenants with their move-ins, and oversees construction and repair work. Additionally, he addresses supply chain issues, deals with utility companies, and ensures smooth operations. Wiley Brothers is a commercial real estate firm established in 1960 by Mr. Wiley’s grandfather and great-uncle, specializing in industrial properties in Dallas County. Alongside his father and uncle, he manages around 800,000 square feet of industrial property they built and is one of the primary contractors responsible for maintaining all the buildings. Prior to his current position, he was a project manager at Andres Construction Services from 2016 to 2017, a project administrator from 2012 to 2016, and a project engineer from 2007 to 2012. He began his career as an A-10 senior pilot in the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1997 to 2007 and earning service medals for his contributions.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Wiley pursued an education at the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering with a minor in French in 1997. He continued his academic efforts at the Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas, obtaining a Master of Business Administration in 2011. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations. He has maintained his involvement as a member of various leadership committees, vestry, and choir at the Episcopal Church. He also serves on the academy admissions board for the Federal Service Academies, including Annapolis, West Point, Merchant Marine, and the Air Force.
Throughout his career, Mr. Wiley has taken great pride in maintaining nearly 100% occupancy rates in all their properties during his tenure. He attributes this success to two main factors: Dallas being the strongest industrial real estate market in the country and the quality and care with which the preceding generations built and maintained the buildings. He credits his success to his upbringing, education, and ability to connect with people from various backgrounds. In the coming years, he aims to ensure that the company stays on its current trajectory, completes all necessary repairs, and leases all vacant areas. He also remains committed to maintaining the high standards of excellence established by his predecessors while continuing to grow and adapt to the ever-changing real estate market.
