With nearly five decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Kulcsar has carved out a distinguished career in the field of engineering. Excelling as the president of ASI Systems Engineering (ASI) since 1989, he leads a team of accomplished professionals who provide project management, engineering, and FDA compliance services, addressing complex manufacturing and regulatory issues.

ASI has established itself as a premier systems integrator specializing in demanding pharmaceutical applications. Over the past three decades, ASI has expanded its technical consulting services with professional engineers trained in life sciences, food and beverage, health and beauty, parcel handling, and OEM machinery. ASI is comprised of three groups: the Compliance Group, the Manufacturing Intelligence Group, and the Project Professionals Group. The company provides expertise in FDA compliance, systems automation, and data analysis through engineers specialized in validation, quality assurance, serialization, and supervisory control and data acquisition.

ASI also offers professional staffing, utilizing highly selective hiring practices to ensure only the most capable personnel join the team. The company fulfills staffing needs in project management, technology transfer, validation, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, engineering, automation, software development, data analytics, and real-time performance management. 

Prior to his current role, Mr. Kulcsar was a principal engineer at Abbott Laboratories from 1980 to 1989. He also served as a senior engineer at Davy McKee Corp. from 1977 to 1980. Before immigrating to the United States from Hungary in 1977, he served in the military from 1970 to 1971. Following his military service, he pursued an education at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where he earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1976, laying a solid foundation for his future success.

Mr. Kulcsar became involved in his profession when he started working as the first principal engineer for the small pharmaceutical company Abbott Laboratories in 1980. This experience sparked his desire to become his own boss, which led him to establish ASI. The establishment and decades-long success of his company stand as a highlight of his career and a source of pride. 

In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Kulcsar remains affiliated with various organizations related to his areas of expertise. He has maintained his involvement with the International Society for Technology in Education, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the Parenteral Drug Association, and the American Society for Quality. He is also a dedicated donor to several military and law enforcement organizations, including the American Legion, United Service Organizations Inc., Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, Wounded Warrior Project, and the United States Deputy Sheriff’s Association.

In his free time, Mr. Kulcsar has been flying planes since 1966. Growing up in Hungary, he had the privilege of being mentored by Tury Kornel, a legend in the Hungarian flying community, whose influence still has a profound impact on his life. 

Looking ahead, Mr. Kulcsar aims to continue growing his company and achieving the financial goals he has set for himself. He emphasizes the importance of working hard and smart, noting that business never stops—a mindset he points to as a key factor in his success. He attributes his achievements to being fortunate enough to hire very capable people to work for his business.
