With decades of experience to her credit, Ms. Kappos has excelled as a contractor and certified public accountant operating on behalf of Robert Half Inc. since 2021, during which time he has demonstrated her expertise in bookkeeping and auditing. Prior to these positions, she was active as a certified public accountant and a contractor with a number of certified public accounting firms between 1994 and 2021. She previously served as an internal auditor with the Penske Corporation, Inc. in the early 1990s. Ms. Kappos began her career with her father’s certified public accounting firm at the age of 14 before further refining her skills at a firm in California that specialized in the automotive industry in 1987.
To support her professional ambitions, Ms. Kappos pursued an education at Portland State University, from which she earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1986. Following this accomplishment, she obtained her certification as a public accountant in 1989. Attributing her success to her effective skill set, she is incredibly proud of her exceptional ability to organize and reconcile past records. Notably, she fondly recalls improving the performance of several firms in the past by handling their tax returns and enabling them to stabilize their financial future. Looking toward the future, Ms. Kappos hopes to remain employed while continuing to grow in her career, as she firmly believes she is capable of contributing to her field in an intellectual and meaningful capacity.
