Throughout his career, Mr. Samuelson has taken pride in being an accomplished mentor who has helped many individuals succeed in data science. He is currently teaching an online evening class on artificial intelligence theory, machine learning theory, and applied data science through Caltech. Additionally, he teaches a weekend online class on artificial intelligence principles for business leaders throughout the University of Texas, Austin. Many of his former mentees have become principal data scientists for their respective teams or companies. He attributes his success to his commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest developments in his field. Additionally, his ability to adapt quickly has been a critical factor, as he has worked in various industries, including health care, finance, logistics, research, and fraud detection, allowing him to transition seamlessly and thrive between different fields.
