A seasoned professional with more than 25 years of experience in human resources to his credit, Mr. Kalamatianos has excelled as the director of talent engagement, senior client business partner, and executive coach at Excel Talent Solutions since 2018. In addition to this position, he has been active as a senior subject matter expert in business and management and council member at GLG, and a network member and senior executive at Boardsi since 2022. Mr. Kalamatianos has likewise served as a senior executive management consultant and project manager at Business Talent Group since 2020 and the founder and managing partner of Kalamatianos Consulting Practice & Services since 2009.
Mr. Kalamatianos began his career with Aeo Hewitt as a human resources benefits counselor and a human resources college intern from 1999 to 2000, after which he refined his skills with human resources positions with Harris Bank, Aon Hewitt Exult, Hoffman Estates, and the Career Education Corporation between 2000 and 2009. Recruited to the faculty and HRM advisory board at Judson University from 2008 to 2012, he subsequently worked in administrative and consulting positions with the North American Corporation from 2012 to 2013, FedEx in 2014, Ross Stores Inc. from 2014 to 2015, CVS Health from 2015 to 2017, and LinkedIn from 2018 to 2020. Moreover, Mr. Kalamatianos has accrued numerous accolades over the years, including the Humanitarian Award, the All-American Scholar Award and Dean’s Award from Northern Illinois University, and recognition as an Outstanding FCNS Student.
Before embarking upon his professional path, Mr. Kalamatianos pursued an education at Northern Illinois University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in applied family and child studies in 1997 and a Bachelor of Science in business management with a focus in human resource management in 1999. He eventually concluded his academic efforts at the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University in 2007, graduating with a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in human resource management. Attributing his success to his steadfast faith in God, the unwavering support of his parents and grandparents, and an invaluable network of colleagues, he remains greatly inspired to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Looking toward the future, Mr. Kalamatianos hopes to obtain his doctorate while contributing to the growth and development of countries in need of teaching, mentoring, and coaching, and transitioning to speaking, research, and writing endeavors.
