Gregory Madison Klein, CPA

Title: Chief Financial Officer, Controller, and Consultant
Company: VecTor ICS
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

Gregory Madison Klein, CPA, chief financial officer, controller, and consultant at VecTor ICS, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in fraud auditing.

With over five decades of experience, Mr. Klein has built a successful career in fraud auditing, with a focus on business and consulting services. He served as the chief financial officer, controller, consultant, and project manager of VecTor ICS from 1991 until his retirement in 2020. In this role, he provided critical support to firms and certified public accountancy organizations in need of interim chief financial officers, revitalized computer systems, and managed payroll operations. VecTor ICS specialized in consultancy and advisory services, particularly fraud auditing, accounting for approximately 40 percent of his work. His clients were primarily private equity investors in Chicago and banks seeking evaluations of distressed companies related to non-performing loans. These loans often involved asset-based or mezzanine financing, areas that required detailed and specialized assessment.

Mr. Klein’s experience also includes serving as chief financial officer at Manco Inc. from 1981 to 1991, director of internal audit at Lamson & Sessions Co., a manufacturing company specializing in electrical conduit, fittings, and enclosures, serving the industrial and commercial construction markets, and director of internal audit at Curtis Noll Corporation, a manufacturing company known for producing specialized equipment and components which was later acquired by Congoleum Corporation, from 1976 to 1979. Earlier in his career, from 1973 to 1976, he was the director of internal audit at Ernst & Young Global Limited. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Management Association, and the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Mr. Klein also serves as the founding board president of Providence House, a role he has held since 1983. Providence House was established in 1981 by himself, Sister Hope, a Catholic nun, and another nun and Cleveland radio personality Rena Blumberg, later known as Rena Ostonsky. The organization began with Sister Hope caring for four babies in a house provided by the Catholic church. When he met Sister Hope and asked about her aspirations, she replied, “I want to grow.” Inspired by her vision, he offered his assistance in expanding Providence House. Through their combined efforts, Providence House steadily grew and became the largest crisis nursery in North America.

Reflecting on his career, Mr. Klein takes great pride in his achievements during his tenure at Manco Inc., where his efforts contributed to the company receiving three Walmart Vendor of the Year Awards for their Masking Tape and Duck Tape products. At that time, in 1981, the company was generating around 10 million dollars in sales and was in the process of branding with Walmart. In recognition of his impressive undertakings, he was honored with the Outstanding Citizen Award by the State of Ohio in 1987. He attributes his success to his steadfast belief in God, a guiding principle central to his life. In the coming years, he is focused on expanding the reach and impact of Providence House. Established in Las Vegas on January 5, 2023, with Mr. Klein as a founding board member, he says the organization is poised for significant growth.
