Before transitioning to the construction field, Mr. Costales had a distinguished career as a major league baseball player. he played for the Kansas City Royals from 1979 to 1980, where he was named Most Valuable Player in 1979, and for the Cincinnati Reds from 1981 to 1982. In 1979, he set a notable record by breaking the stolen base record in Omaha, Nebraska, successfully completing 75 stolen bases with fewer attempts, surpassing the previous record of 74 in a single season. He attributes his success to the influence of his hardworking parents. In the coming years, he aspires to achieve his master code professional certification. In his personal time, he enjoys coaching and teaching baseball to young children, fishing, and spending time at the beach.
