Mr. Barnes is highly qualified in his industry, receiving a Bachelor of Science in construction management from the University of Cincinnati in 1985. He remains a member of the National Minority Supplier Development Council, where he remains abreast of industry trends. Besides his professional commitments, Mr. Barnes has served in various civic capacities, including as the chief executive officer, of Start2Finish since 2007. Additionally, he has contributed to various local food banks and as a member of his local chamber of commerce and the African American Chamber of Commerce.
In light of his success in business ownership, Mr. Barnes has received several business awards and was recognized as a Partner of the Community Action Agency. He also received an Urban League Award and a Hall of Fame Award from the African American Chamber of Commerce. Among his most notable accomplishments, however, has been Mr. Barnes’s ability to provide opportunities for others, contribute to the overall wealth and well-being of the country, and build America.
