Dr. Damian Nesser, life design coach at Life Design Coaching, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in education and coaching.
With nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Nesser has built a successful career in counseling, coaching, and mentoring. Since 2021, he has served as a coach at Life Design Coaching and serves as a counselor at C.E. King Middle School. His experience also includes technology and language arts teacher at Monroe Lower Middle School from 2021 to 2022 and dean and school counselor for the School District of Manatee County from 2006 to 2021. Laying a strong educational foundation, he earned a doctorate in business teacher education from Argosy University in 2017. Additionally, he hosts the podcast “Life is a Classroom” and co-authored the upcoming book “Bloom Where You Are: Thrive, Nurture, and Grow When the Odds Are Against You (A Son’s Circle of Life Perspective on His Mother’s Journey with Vascular Dementia),” set for publication in 2024. He also founded the Life is a Classroom Foundation and actively volunteers and donates to Bayside Community Church.
Dr. Nesser lives by the mantra, “Learn, dream, and achieve to give back to someone who can’t give back to you in your classroom of life.” Reflecting on his path, he brings over 31 years of experience as an educator, including 19 years as a classroom teacher, eight years as a school counselor, and two years as a dean. His dedication to education and community service inspired him to establish The Life is a Classroom Foundation in honor of his parents. The foundation supports churches and schools through a variety of impactful initiatives. He also takes great pride in his newly published book, “Bloom Where You Are,” which details his personal journey as a home health care aide to his mother, who suffered from vascular dementia.
Dr. Nesser attributes his success to the faith, hope, and love instilled in him by his parents. Looking ahead, he plans to conclude his 20-year tenure with the Manatee County School District and transition into full-time work as a life coach, speaker, and podcaster. His vision includes furthering his impact through the Life is a Classroom Foundation by expanding its philanthropic efforts, particularly supporting church missions and aiding schools and communities in need around the globe. He is also focused on growing as a globally recognized speaker and collaborating with the Jon Gordon team to amplify his message of inspiration and empowerment.
