Laying a solid educational foundation, he earned a bachelor’s degree in law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro in 2001, a Bachelor of Business Administration in administration and management from the University of Miami in 2010 and completed the Backlink Management Course with Greg Gifford at Semrush in 2024. Reflecting on his path, he grew up in a poor family and quickly understood that he would have to rely on himself to achieve success. When he first arrived in the United States, he faced numerous challenges but found inspiration in the freedom and ideals of the country.
In 2004, a pivotal meeting with a developer took him to Brazil, where he began reviewing property contracts for international buyers interested in Miami real estate. His background in banking and law naturally led him to specialize in investment, ultimately obtaining a broker’s license. The tangible nature of real estate investment captivated him, offering a contrast to the volatility of the stock market. During a downturn in the housing market in 2017, he saw an opportunity and shifted his focus to rentals, earning $65,000 independently in his first months. His success garnered attention within his company, propelling him to seek new challenges. It was during this transition that he met Mae de la Vega, a key figure at Sotheby’s International Realty. Under Vega’s mentorship, he and the team achieved extraordinary success, selling $250 million worth of a new condo hotel in Miami Beach within just three months.
Currently, Mr. Araujo is in a partnership with Symbion, a biotech company specializing in medical-grade skincare. The company sources ingredients from Brazil and employs a clean fermentation process to create skincare products that preserve the skin’s microbiomes and youthfulness. He attributes his success to his ability to seize opportunities and learn from his mistakes. He draws inspiration from his grandfather, a deeply spiritual figure who taught him to focus on doing what is right rather than seeking praise. Looking to the future, he envisions Lux MedSpa expanding into other states and becoming a high-end brand. Additionally, he is working on partnerships with two or more hotels in his area to further elevate his business endeavors.
