The 2008 market downturn proved to be a turning point for Mr. Araujo. He seized the opportunity to excel in rentals, and what many saw as a crisis, he saw the opportunity, since Brazilians were coming to Miami and buying a lot as everything was on sale, generating impressive results and catching the eye of industry leaders. This success paved the way for a pivotal connection with Mayi de la Vega, a renowned figure in Miami real estate. Under her mentorship, he was on the top three agents to achieved extraordinary feats, including selling $250 million worth of a new condo hotel – a remarkable achievement at the time.
Always seeking new horizons, Mr. Araujo embraced the challenge of launching a groundbreaking spa concept. Drawing inspiration from his network, his first call was to Katy Stoka, a successful entrepreneur in the beauty industry, and an old friend as she was the director of sales for the successful W South Beach among many others.
