A distinguished professional with nearly three decades of experience in operations performance improvement, industrial engineering, consulting, restructuring, and turnaround, Dr. Feller has excelled as the senior managing director at Paladin Management Group since 2023. In this position, he consults with numerous organizations to enhance their operations and manage transitions effectively. Prior to his current post, Dr. Feller served as the managing director at Feller Consulting from 2017 to 2023, where he provided strategic guidance to businesses seeking operational improvements.
Concurrently, Dr. Feller worked as the global manufacturing manager at Arrow Electronics Inc. from 2018 to 2019. His previous tenure as senior vice president at Deloitte from 2015 to 2017 further solidified his stellar reputation in the field. He also formerly found success as the vice president of restructuring business process and information technologies at Baselayer and adjunct faculty at Arizona State University from 2014 to 2015. From 2011 to 2015, Dr. Feller was appointed as the vice president of manufacturing at IO, where he supervised a factory for modular data centers.
Dr. Feller began his career with foundational experiences such as being a systems engineering program manager at Motorola Mobility LLC from 1995 to 1999. His notable work on the Iridium constellation satellites project has been cited among his professional highlights, as he fondly recalls leading the team that successfully built and launched satellites ahead of schedule. This significant achievement is commemorated by one of the satellites being displayed at the Smithsonian Institution with his name inscribed on it.
In addition to his myriad accomplishments, Dr. Feller is a member of several industry-related organizations including the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, SME, formerly the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the Turnaround Management Association, The Aerospace & Defense Forum, the Association for Manufacturing Excellence, the Decision Sciences Institute, and Phi Kappa Phi. His contributions to the aforementioned organizations reflect his commitment to advancing the field of industrial engineering.
Dr. Feller’s educational journey at Arizona State University (ASU) is marked by perseverance and excellence. He initially earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering, summa cum laude, at ASU in 1986 before obtaining a Master of Science in industrial engineering, with academic distinction, in 1989. He would eventually return to ASU years later on a Governor’s Scholarship, graduating in 2010 with a doctorate in industrial and management systems engineering. During this tenure, Dr. Feller’s academic achievements were honored with an Alumni of the Year Award from ASU in 2000.
Beyond his primary responsibilities, Dr. Feller is civically engaged as the lean supply chain co-chair for the SME Annual Conference. Furthermore, he proudly volunteers at St. Mary’s Food Bank. Dr Feller has also provided his valuable insights and his wealth of knowledge to his field at large by authoring articles published in professional journals.
Born in Harrisburg, Dr. Feller enjoys a fulfilling personal life with his loving spouse, Marta Feller, and their three wonderful children Quintin Ginn, Ashton Feller, and Aaron Feller. In his leisure time, he plays blues guitar, hikes, meditates, and cooks. Looking toward the future, Dr. Feller aspires to apply his skills to meaningful projects that promote sustainability while continuing to address complex challenges in society.
