Before joining Builders FirstSource Inc., Ms. Evans garnered success as the director of vendor management at Truliant Federal Credit Union from 2022 to 2023, as a senior corporate counsel at Netrix LLC between 2021 and 2022, and as a partner at Parlatore Law Group LLP in 2021. Her earlier years included appointments with several other respected banking organizations, including Truist and BB&T. Among other roles, Ms. Evans spent her earlier years in law as a contract document review attorney in the Raleigh and Chapel Hill area of North Carolina from 2013 to 2014.
Possessing a rich educational background, Ms. Evans holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology, summa cum laude, from North Carolina State University since 2007 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from North Carolina Central University. She was admitted to practice by the North Carolina Bar Association, holds credentials as a certified quality improvement associate, and received a Justice in the Practice law certificate. Ms. Evans is active in her professional community as a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Wake County Bar Association and volunteers with organizations like the Wakefield Parent Teacher Association, the Boy Scouts of America and the American National Red Cross. Among her notable recognitions, Ms. Evans was featured in a chapter dedication in the book “If School Desks Could Speak” by Mirka Christesen. She attributes much of her accomplishments thus far to her perseverance, discipline and positive attitude and looks forward to continued success making a meaningful impact in her field.
