A career highlight for Mr. Turner was the debut of a second Campeón at the Miami International Boat Show. Despite facing tight deadlines and production delays, he was a key member of the team that successfully completed the showcase vessel while still in the water, exemplifying the team’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
Mr. Turner’s expertise is built on a wealth of experience at leading organizations. From 2019 to 2021, he worked as a mechanical engineer at Honeywell. Prior to that, he served as a vehicle integration engineer and competitor benchmarking lead at Ford Performance from 2017 to 2019. His career at Ford began in 2014 as a design and release engineer for both Ford Performance and Ford and Lincoln Core Engineering, where he excelled until 2017. This diverse background has shaped Mr. Turner into a versatile and results-driven leader in the boat-building and engineering industries.
Mr. Turner’s professional journey is complemented by his military service as a sergeant and squad leader in the United States Marine Corps between 2008 and 2015. During this time, he accepted distinct awards for his dedicated leadership, including being nominated for the Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year Award in 2014.
Distinguished academic credentials further define Mr. Turner’s presence in the industry. He completed a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Kansas State University in 2014 before pursuing graduate studies. He now holds a Master of Business Administration from Villanova School of Business, which he earned in 2021. Additionally, Mr. Turner’s certification as a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt underscores his focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
A consistent pursuit of opportunities for civic engagement propelled Mr. Turner to support organizations such as the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation, Fisher House Foundation, Project SOS and the American Cancer Society. As further evidence of his dedication to community service, he served as an assistant coach for Olathe Lacrosse in Olathe, Kansas, and Mr. Turner achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America in 2003.
To achieve balance, Mr. Turner cherishes spending time with his fiancé and attending sporting events. He also enjoys camping and off-roading, reflective of his passion for the outdoors and respect for nature.
