Joey Dalessio, president of Keyincode LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in security.
Mr. Dalessio is distinguished for his work as the president, owner and general sales manager at Keyincode (KIC) LLC, a brand and manufacturing company based in North Reading, Massachusetts, that specializes in various electronic and mechanical access control products. Launching his business in 2018, he sells a variety of electronic locks, as well as high-quality and affordable grade-one code-compliant panic and fire-rated exit hardware.
Working alongside his business partner, David Dalessio, an expert in security hardware product application, building code, and installation, Mr. Dalessio operates two manufacturing plants. The company’s success has led to the manufacture of products throughout North America, Europe and Australia by various recognizable industry trade brands.
In addition to his work at KIC, Mr. Dalessio has served as a business generation associate at Triad Sales Group since 2021. The company represents manufacturers throughout the northeast in the mechanical and electronic lock and security hardware sectors. Furthermore, Mr. Dalessio is the founder of BizCat3, an online resource that also offers marketing and sales training opportunities and proven techniques and programs to help clients generate new business online.
Mr. Dalessio grew up in the locksmith business, working for his father’s company in Somerville, Massachusetts, in 1960. After relocating with his family to Medford, he became a professional locksmith. Mr. Dalessio later left the family business to become an independent sales representative, selling lock products throughout New England as a national sales manager for Don-Jo Manufacturing in 1984. He also garnered success as a national sales manager before advancing to vice president of sales at Medeco Security Locks, which was a foremost manufacturer of high-security locks, between 1991 and 1999.
Acquired by Intermountain Lock and Security Supply in 2004, Mr. Dalessio served as the director of business development before joining Marks USA in the same capacity. From 2018 to 2022, he succeeded as a general manager at GS Davidson Company. Each role has been instrumental in Mr. Dalessio’s career progression and success as an industry leader.
Mr. Dalessio graduated from Medford High School in Medford, Massachusetts. He also completed college coursework in business administration and management. Besides his education, Mr. Dalessio has become active with several industry-related organizations, including as a member of the Associated Locksmiths of America (now Security Professionals) and as a member and president of the Massachusetts Locksmith Association.
Becoming a well-written writer, Mr. Dalessio has been published several times. He notably contributed to various publications in his area of expertise, including co-authoring “Competitive Advantage: Fixing Small Business Security and Safety Problems” and “Selling Security-Reactive Based Service to Proactive Marketing and Sales.” He has also contributed to the BizCat2 Newsletter.
In 1996, Mr. Dalessio received the Locksmith Ledger Hall of Fame Award, which was associated with one of the most prominent trade magazines at the time. This accolade highlighted his accomplishments.
