He has also worked for Primal Consulting as a security professional since 2019, where he leverages his expertise as a security and threat management consultant.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Mills worked as an asset-based operations manager of physical risk at Arvest Bank, where he became an expert in risk assessment and mitigation, from 2004 to 2017. For over a decade, he garnered exceptional skills that catapulted his career forward in the field.
Mr. Mills’s professional journey began with military service as an E6 combat military police officer in the U.S. Army from 1996 to 2007. During this period, he participated in Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Noble Eagle, completing more than 300 combat missions. His responsibilities included protecting top-secret military and government facilities and ensuring the safety of U.S. dignitaries and ambassadors. As a critical protection detail and logistics supervisor for the National Security Agency/Central Security Service and the Pentagon, Mr. Mills oversaw the security of high-value individuals visiting those locations. This foundation in military operations provided him with extensive experience in security and safety that continues to inform his work in the private sector.
Education has played a vital role in Mr. Mills’s success. He earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in 2008. This academic foundation equipped him with critical knowledge that supports his expertise in executive protection, corporate security and crisis management. Mr. Mills is notably American Concrete Institute certified, an added qualification for his role in the concrete sector.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Mills is committed to civic engagement as a committee volunteer for the American Diabetes Association gala each year for Kiss a Pig. His affiliation is a testament to his dedication to community service.
