His expertise was previously honed during his tenure at CynergisTek, Inc., now Clearwater Security & Compliance LLC. Mr. Teague managed security and assessment consulting services for the organization between 2021 and 2022 after initially working as an information security engineer for the organization from 2018 to 2021, during which he gained valuable experience in risk assessment and compliance frameworks.
In addition to his work in cybersecurity consulting, Mr. Teague has contributed to motorsports safety since 2018 through roles at EchoPark Speedway, formerly Atlanta Motor Speedway, and Talladega Superspeedway for NASCAR. At these venues, he is responsible for on-track cleanup following accidents and provides track security during major racing events. Moreover, Mr. Teague has been serving as a faculty member at IANS, a cybersecurity consulting firm based in Boston, Massachusetts, since 2023.
Before transitioning to the private sector, Mr. Teague completed an illustrious military career with the U.S. Army that spanned more than three decades. Serving from 1988 to 2020, he served as a chief signal noncommissioned officer, where he developed a reputation for exceptional leadership and technical acumen. Mr. Teague’s military service was marked by significant achievements in team development, and he takes particular pride in having mentored young soldiers who have since risen to senior leadership positions within the U.S. Army.
Mr. Teague’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on quality management and Lean Six Sigma from Trident University International, acquired in 2011, followed by a Master of Business Administration in strategic leadership on campus in 2017.
