Since 2018, he has been at the helm of Xtreme Fabrication in Leitchfield, Kentucky, a premier metal manufacturing company, as its president. Leveraging his expertise as an experienced chief operating officer in this sector, Mr. Busche continues to concentrate on growing his organization, which is sought after for its high-quality products and services.
As experts in metalworking and custom fabrication, Xtreme Fabrication offers a range of services, including machining by certified welders, laser cutting, metal cutting, MIG and TIG welding, CNC pipe bending and powder coating, with very affordable pricing that meets the needs of every client. The company is also notably ISO 9001, AS9100D and HUBZone certified.
Before launching Xtreme Fabrication, Mr. Busche was an experienced and knowledgeable chief operating officer at Impact CNC in Columbia City, Indiana, from 2014 to 2017. An award-winning contract CNC manufacturer, Impact CNC serves the agriculture, industrial, construction, off-road and transportation sectors.
Mr. Busche also garnered tremendous work experience with Dexter Axle Company (now Dexter Group Company) for 25 years. Hired in 1986 as a CNC machinist and set-up, he became a tool and die maker from 1990 to 1996. Briefly leaving the organization, he worked for Engineering Tooling Inc. as a machine shop supervisor before returning to Dexter in 1999 as a tool room supervisor. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Busche was promoted to plant superintendent between 2002 and 2005 and to plant manager from 2005 to 2014.
Based in Elkhart, Indiana, Dexter Group Company has been in business for over 60 years. It is recognized for its success as a trusted brand for utility trailers, recreational vehicles, marine, heavy-duty, agricultural, and specialty equipment manufacturers and distribution centers. Mr. Busche’s demonstrated work history in the automotive sector during this time has been pivotal to his success.
Returning to school years after decades of working in the industry, Mr. Busche received a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management, summa cum laude, from Indiana Institute of Technology, in 2015. While in college, he was inducted into Sigma Beta Delta and Alpha Chi. His degree and these honorable inductions are a testament to his hard work and desire to advance in his career.
As a dedicated member of his professional community, Mr. Busche has been affiliated with the National Small Business Association since 2024 as a member of its leadership council. The nonprofit professional organization represents small businesses nationwide on the advocacy level. As a local business owner, this role has provided him with guidance and support as a foremost entrepreneur in his area.
Civically active, Mr. Busche has generously supported the American Heart Association Inc., which supports various cardiovascular medical research to reduce heart disease and stroke. He has also been recognized as a member of The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels since 2023, a nonprofit organization heavily invested in philanthropy.
