Ms. Dodenhoff, director of business operations at Velocity Investing Group LLC, which owns Blue Mint Thai & Asian Cuisine in Mansfield, Texas, has been leading the organization in her role since 2024. Dedicating her time to marketing efforts and hiring and firing processes, her diverse role also encompasses working closely with general contractors and managing construction projects, participating in investment meetings and engaging in efforts to raise capital for the business. Leveraging her extensive business sales and marketing operational leadership expertise, Ms. Dodenhoff was recruited from Mouser Electronics, where she excelled as a customer development representative, buyer program manager and corporate account manager.

Beginning her career journey in the military, Ms. Dodenhoff became an active-duty security forces member in the U.S. Air Force in 2011. In 2017, she transferred into the Air Force Reserves and became a security forces technical school instructor. She also worked for the U.S. Census Bureau as an area census office manager and as a regional technician until 2021 before joining Mouser Electronics and ultimately Blue Mint Thai. Ms. Dodenhoff continues to engage in military work as a part-time unit training manager and squad leader for the Air Force Reserves.

Highly educated, Ms. Dodenhoff holds two associate degrees, a bachelor’s degree in human resources development from Southwestern College, followed by a Master of Business Administration and is a doctoral candidate for a Doctor of Business Administration from Northwood University. Ms. Dodenhoff remains active in her community as a brand ambassador for the Midlothian Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce’s women’s board, veterans board and is on the small businesses’ resources committee. Eager for future success, she has been decorated with several medals from the military, received the Pitsenbarger Award and was a recipient of the inaugural class of Mansfield’s 40 Under 40 for 2025.

Ms. Dodenhoff attributes her drive to her aunt and uncle, Angie and Mike Songster. Mrs. Songster always encouraged Ms. Dodenhoff to continue her education and believe in herself, and U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. (ret) is the role model Ms. Dodenhoff had as her reason for joining the military herself. Ms. Dodenhoff would also like to give a special thanks to her business partner, Mike Wilson, for seeing her value and guiding her to opportunities of personal and professional advancement.
