Before this, he was active as an executive program manager and associate partner at IBM GBS Denmark from 2009 to 2012, where he led teams in delivering high-quality software solutions and support.

Mr. Grignon’s tenure at IBM Global Business Process Services from 2002 to 2009 as an associate partner and executive consultant further solidified his reputation as a leader in project recovery and client expectation alignment. His earlier experience includes working as director and principal consultant at PwC Consulting from 1996 to 2002, where he honed his skills in technical consulting and engineering solutions. Before joining PwC, he was previously appointed as the director of information technology at James River Corporation from 1984 to 1995, overseeing corporate information technology strategies.

Mr. Grignon’s professional journey began with roles such as manufacturing manager at Texas Instruments from 1980 to 1984. Additionally, his military service in the United States Army from 1973 to 1987 provided him with invaluable leadership skills and a strong foundation for his career. Mr. Grignon further served on active duty in air defense artillery until 1984 before transitioning to the Reserve and National Guard.

To support his ambitions, Mr. Grignon pursued an education at the University of Maine, earning a Bachelor of Science in biology that initially sparked his interest in systems management through military logistics work. He ultimately concluded his academic studies with a Master of Science in systems and operations management with a focus on research systems analysis from Florida Institute of Technology, which equipped him with advanced analytical skills crucial for his consulting roles.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Grignon has been actively involved in civic organizations such as the Planning Board for the Town of Jonesport, Maine since 2019. His military service has been recognized with numerous accolades, including the Meritorious Service Medal, two Commendation Awards, the Army Achievement Medal, and the National Service Medal. At IBM, Mr. Grignon was honored with membership in the 100 Percent Club and received various IBM Values Awards during his tenure in Finland.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mr. Grignon enjoys outdoor activities such as canoeing, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and skiing, as well as exploring Maine’s natural beauty. Looking toward the future, he is eager to embark on new international projects that will allow him to leverage his extensive experience overseas while reconnecting with his birth family in Europe.
