Promoted to his current position, Mr. Furru previously served as a branch supervisor for design-build and light construction at Pieper Electric Inc. from 2022 to 2024. He was instrumental in supervising departmental operations, optimizing workflow and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Initially hired in 2017, Mr. Furru spent five years as a project manager at his company, where he honed his skills in project oversight, resource allocation and client relations.
Before joining Pieper Electric Inc., Mr. Furru spent a little over a decade at Hurt Electric Inc. in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. He advanced through the ranks from electrical apprentice in 2006, which introduced him to the fundamentals of the trade, to foreman and journeyman electrician from 2010 to 2015, and to project manager between 2015 and 2017, where he was instrumental in delivering high-quality results on job sites.
After high school, Mr. Furru completed college coursework that enhanced his technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities. He also received a journeyman certificate, which has been instrumental in establishing his credibility and expertise within the field.
Mr. Furru’s professional affiliations include membership in the National Electrical Contractors Association. He also serves as an instructor for the Project Management Academy, further demonstrating his commitment to education and industry advancement. Moreover, Mr. Furru has contributed to industry knowledge as a speaker at the Federated Electrical Contractors Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, sharing insights on project management and operational excellence.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Furru is civically engaged as a volunteer with Ronald McDonald House Charities and Junior Achievement. His dedication to service reflects his broader commitment to community well-being.
