Mr. Abate is a leading figure in festival production, demonstrating expertise and innovation throughout a career spanning two decades. In 2023, he founded the U.S. Concert Agency (USCA), where he serves as the founder and producer. In this capacity, Mr. Abate curates show concepts, designs brand aesthetics, conducts venue research, secures locations and negotiates with artists. Among other responsibilities, Mr. Abate manages all aspects of business operations as a promoter. He is recognized for independently raising all necessary capital for his productions and maintaining full ownership of his company.
In 2024, Mr. Abate served as a build tour supervisor for XL Event Lab, further expanding his experience in large-scale event management. From 2012 to 2023, he was the founder and producer at Stage Left Entertainment in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he developed a reputation for creative leadership and operational excellence.
Mr. Abate’s earlier roles included working with Crew One Productions at Firefly Music Festival in Tennessee in 2016 and an operations position with Live Nation Entertainment in Charlotte that same year. Additionally, in 2016, he was a tour coordinator for CID Entertainment in Charlotte.
Between 2014 and 2015, Mr. Abate contributed as a production coordinator at Rock Werchter, a music festival in Rotselaar, Belgium. He also spent time as a video director for Parkpop Music Festival in The Hague, Netherlands, from 2013 to 2015, and managed operations at Leeds Music Festival in Leeds, United Kingdom, during those years.
Mr. Abate began his professional journey as a promotions assistant at CBS Radio in West Palm Beach, Florida, in 2009 after gaining foundational experience in operations with Live Nation Entertainment from 2006 to 2009. Notably, he produced his first show at age 16 with Air Supply at Magic City Casino in Miami, Florida, by raising the required funds independently.
Mr. Abate completed his high school education before entering the entertainment industry. The challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic and weather-related setbacks in 2021 tested his resolve but ultimately fueled his determination to launch USCA as a pivotal comeback.
Civically engaged, Mr. Abate is a donor to Field of Dreams Inc., reflecting his commitment to supporting meaningful community initiatives. He is also an active speaker at various industry events.
Mr. Abate was nominated for Promoter of the Year. Among his most notable achievements was producing the first concert at the iconic “Field of Dreams” movie site in Dyersville, Iowa. On August 30, 2025, he produced a concert featuring Tim McGraw on what would have been Tug McGraw’s birthday, honoring the legendary baseball player. The following day, Mr. Abate organized another event with Nickelback and additional bands. These concerts attracted approximately 35,000 attendees from around the world and generated more than $7 million for the local community over two days. In recognition of his contributions, Mr. Abate was awarded the Key to the City.
