Natalie A. Fuellenbach, product operations manager at Actionstep, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in product operations.
Across the past 25 years, Ms. Fuellenbach has established herself in the world of product operations in multiple fields, including technology, real estate and music. Her professional journey started as a regional marketing representative for Def Jam Recordings, a label of Universal Music Group, in 2000. After four years in that role, Ms. Fuellenbach transitioned to a five-year tenure as operations manager at BVT Publishing, a textbook manufacturer. She went on to contribute as a senior operations manager at H&E LLC and Paragon Commercial Brokerage, demonstrating a strong ability to adapt to different needs within her skill set.
In what would become one of the biggest moves in her career, Ms. Fuellenbach became one of the earliest employees of Instacart in 2013. She joined the technology startup as a community operations lead when there were only 10 other full-time employees. In this key position, Ms. Fuellenbach was responsible for building up Instacart’s support operations from the ground up, including developing a training program, hiring team members, utilizing various tools to pull together data for strategic decisions, and setting the foundation for multiple departments at the company, including quality assurance, customer safety and logistics. After five years of building up this portion of the business, she shifted into the role of product operations analyst in 2018. Backed up by her experience in data reporting and product management, Ms. Fuellenbach quickly proved how essential the product operations role was. After just a year as an analyst, she was promoted to the newly created position of product operations manager.
Deeply proud of her contributions to Instacart’s growth and evolution, Ms. Fuellenbach led the development of new products and features, reducing the time-to-market for these additions by 25% and boasting a 15% increase in customer satisfaction scores. She played an essential part in implementing contactless delivery options during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ms. Fuellenbach assisted in the introduction of alcohol and prescription delivery in several markets, as well as non-grocery partnerships with such companies as Best Buy and Sephora. Her hard work was honored when Instacart became a publicly traded company in 2023, during which she was invited by the company’s chief executive officer to participate in the Nasdaq bell-ringing ceremony.
Following up on a decade with Instacart, Ms. Fuellenbach has served as product operations manager at Actionstep since 2025. This global company creates software that aid law firms through organization, automation and workflow improvement. Ms. Fuellenbach has been tasked with building Actionstep’s product operations team from the ground up. She collaborates with a team spread across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Prior to embarking upon her professional journey, Ms. Fuellenbach set a foundation with her education, beginning with an associate degree in psychology from City College of San Francisco. She went on to complete coursework toward a Bachelor of Business Administration in management at San Francisco State University. Ms. Fuellenbach is currently pursuing an executive Master of Business Administration program. She has obtained a number of certifications, including in data storytelling for business, business strategy execution, diversity and social justice, and entrepreneurship and innovation in business.
Outside of her career, Ms. Fuellenbach is engaged to be married. She likes spending her free time traveling, as well as volunteering as a disaster action team coordinator with The American National Red Cross. Excited for her future with Actionstep, Ms. Fuellenbach aspires to become a director or vice president at the company. She looks forward to completing her executive Master of Business Administration program in support of that goal.
