In these positions, he has been instrumental in designing and implementing advanced digital mortgage systems, optimizing workflow automation and ensuring regulatory compliance for clients, as well as providing expertise in project management and operational strategies. Mr. Kalika’s proficiency has earned him recognition as an expert in the field, widely recognized for his technical acumen and problem-solving abilities, and for delivering innovative solutions within the digital mortgage landscape.
From 2021 to 2022, Mr. Kalika contributed as an Encompass consultant at Lender Toolkit, where he provided specialized guidance on system configuration and user training. Recruited to the company from A.S.K. Technologies LLC, he served as an associate consultant from 2017 to 2021. During this period, Mr. Kalika honed his skills in software implementation and client support, laying the groundwork for his subsequent achievements in digital mortgage architecture. He held the same title at A.S.K Technologies LLC in St. Louis, Missouri, between 2015 and 2016.
Mr. Kalika’s educational background is both comprehensive and distinguished. He earned an associate degree in anthropology from Southwestern Illinois College in 2011, a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and sciences, summa cum laude, from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2014, and a master’s degree in political science from Saint Louis University in 2017. Mr. Kalika’s credentials also include French proficiency A2 certification, certification in administering SQL database infrastructure from LERN and an Encompass certified admin designation from ICE.
While pursuing his college degrees, Mr. Kalika spent 2010 to 2011 as a peer tutor at Southwestern Illinois College, assisting students with coursework and fostering academic success. He also worked as a graduate assistant at Saint Louis University from 2016 to 2017. In this role, Mr. Kalika supported faculty research initiatives and contributed to curriculum development within the political science department.
Among Mr. Kalika’s most remarkable accomplishments was his participation in a National Science Foundation (NSF) research study in Nepal. While based in Kathmandu, he visited several small villages where oral languages predominated, and English or Hindi was supplanting written languages. Commissioned by the NSF, Mr. Kalika documented these spoken languages using phonetics as part of an initiative to create written forms for these communities, an endeavor that underscores his dedication to linguistic preservation and cross-cultural understanding.
Today, Mr. Kalika maintains active membership in Phi Kappa Phi, the Bloomsbury National Honors Society and Phi Beta Kappa. These affiliations reflect his commitment to academic excellence and professional development.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Kalika has demonstrated civic engagement through various roles, such as interim chair of the online senate committee for the graduate student senate at Villanova University. He also founded The League of Faiths and served as its president from 2013 to 2018, fostering interfaith dialogue and community service initiatives. As a donor to Children’s Hope International, Mr. Kalika continues to support charitable causes focused on youth education.
Mr. Kalika attributes much of his success to the unwavering support of his family, whose encouragement has been instrumental throughout his academic pursuits and professional endeavors. His entry into the profession was influenced by hands-on experience gained after graduate school while working alongside his father, an expert independent consultant in Encompass administration, for several years before joining Lender Toolkit.
As he acclimates to his responsibilities as team lead at Lender Toolkit, Mr. Kalika aims to align with his company’s growth trajectory and leverage his seniority to contribute effectively for years to come. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in classical studies with a focus on Greek and Roman culture at Villanova University. Civically, Mr. Kalika remains dedicated to supporting charitable initiatives through Children’s Hope International by assisting Indian high school students while expanding his linguistic abilities through the study of new languages.
