Ms. Thomas graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in biology with a specialization in genetics from The University of Chicago in 2019. Her academic background provided a strong foundation in scientific analysis and critical thinking, which have contributed significantly to her expertise in business, sales and marketing. Initially intending to pursue graduate study in genetic counseling, Ms. Thomas was advised that communication skills were essential for success in that field. This guidance led her to explore career paths that emphasized interpersonal communication, ultimately steering her toward sales, a profession she found highly rewarding from the outset.
Distinguished by her civic engagement and extracurricular involvement, Ms. Thomas has been volunteering with Catholic HEART Workcamp and has participated in mission trips focused on community service since 2013. She has also organized food donations for various charity events benefiting battered women’s shelters through Iris Partners Inc. Earlier, Ms. Thomas served as the captain and social chair for a women’s rugby team from 2016 to 2019, participated in the Modus Vivendi Society in 2016 and was involved with the Chicago Academic Achievement Program in 2015. Her volunteer efforts extended back further, including service at Houston Food Bank between 2011 and 2014.
