Edgar Vicente Castilla, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at ABBA Nexus, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in energy and temperature control as well as Artificial Intelligence Integration with Energy.

With more than two decades of experience in engineering and technology, Mr. Castilla is widely regarded for his expertise in energy and temperature control and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) within energy systems. His career reflects a commitment to solving complex problems through the convergence of knowledge across disciplines rather than increasing specialization. This philosophy has guided his progression from electronics and communications to architectural acoustics, sustainable construction, renewable energy and intelligent infrastructure. Mr. Castilla’s development of the Energy Architecture concept, an engineering methodology that integrates energy generation, storage, environmental control, communications and intelligent decision-making, has positioned him as a thought leader in the field.

Since 2025, Mr. Castilla has served as the founder and chief executive officer of ABBA Nexus in Orlando, Florida. In this capacity, he leads the development and validation of patents focused on advanced energy solutions and AI-driven infrastructure.

Aside from his work at ABBA Nexus, Mr. Castilla has been at the helm of ABBA Padre Soluciones SAS in Bolivar, Colombia, since 2011, as the founder and chief executive officer. His influence in sustainable engineering includes overseeing projects that bridge architectural acoustics with advanced electroacoustic engineering.

From 2003 to 2010, Mr. Castilla was a project manager at Remodelar Ltda. in Cartagena, Colombia. During this period, he supervised complex engineering and construction projects, including major developments for Universidad del Norte and the Museo Mapuka as well as significant contributions to Radio Uninorte and INVEMAR. Mr. Castilla also played a key role in projects for Tecnar University and cultural facilities, such as the historic Teatro Colón in Bogotá.

Mr. Castilla’s collaboration with Bose Corporation’s engineering teams in Framingham, Massachusetts, enabled the technical evaluation and regional implementation of professional sound reinforcement technologies throughout Latin America. As such, he contributed to the deployment of RoomMatch loudspeaker systems, technologies that evolved into the ShowMatch product family for theaters, auditoriums, museums and educational institutions.

Recently, Mr. Castilla pioneered mobile data centers deployable via electric vehicles, a model supported by General Motors, that address real-time data processing needs while optimizing energy consumption and thermal management. He also created an algorithm that dramatically reduces processing requirements for data centers, resulting in significant resource savings. These innovations have established Mr. Castilla as a benchmark for future advancements in energy-efficient data processing.

Between 2020 and 2025, Mr. Castilla spearheaded the installation of over 700 Tesla Power Wall battery systems across Florida, demonstrating backup power solutions before they became common practice, and led efforts to integrate solar generators on rooftops throughout the region. Currently, he is developing advanced mobile energy solutions for emergency deployments that aim to transform household energy systems through AI integration.

Among Mr. Castilla’s most notable achievements has been his contribution to noise-canceling technology developed 15 years ago with teams from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Framingham for pilots exposed to high noise levels in helicopters. This work led to noise-canceling systems now widely used in aviation.

Mr. Castilla’s academic background underpins his professional accomplishments. He secured a Bachelor of Science in electronic engineering from the Technological University of Bolívar. He also garnered a Master of Engineering in architectural and environmental acoustics from the Universitat Ramon Llull and a Doctor of Philosophy in theological sciences. These credentials have provided Mr. Castilla with the interdisciplinary foundation necessary for pioneering work at the intersection of acoustics, environmental engineering and intelligent infrastructure. Additionally, he became certified as a commissioned chaplain by the International Association of Chaplains in Florida.

Civically engaged since 2004, Mr. Castilla serves as a couples’ leader with Confraternidad. In this capacity, he demonstrates ongoing dedication to community enrichment alongside his professional endeavors.

Mr. Castilla distinguishes himself through a deep sense of purpose and a commitment to creating a legacy that transcends business success. He is driven by a passion for making a meaningful impact on humanity by developing innovative platforms that serve technology and healthcare sectors alike. Mr. Castilla’s focus on fostering knowledge for future generations is evident in his collaborative programming projects with his son Nicholas.

Looking ahead, Mr. Castilla aims to continue developing transformative technologies that benefit society while expanding ABBA Nexus’s network of connections worldwide. His legacy is defined not only by technical innovation but also by an enduring commitment to purpose-driven leadership and uplifting others through knowledge sharing and mentorship.
