Mitchell T. Horn, DBA, Chief Financial Officer at WM Partners, LP, and Budget Officer at New Jersey Air National Guard, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Corporate Finance and the Consumer-Packaged Goods Industry.
Attributing two decades of distinguished experience in corporate finance leadership to his field, much of which focused on consumer-packaged goods and the food and beauty sectors, Dr. Horn has established himself as an expert in his field. Currently serving as the chief financial officer (CFO) at WM Partners, LP, in New Jersey since 2026, he manages the financial operations for seven portfolio companies within the health and wellness segment. His responsibilities include tracking performance against targets, identifying trends early, providing strategic recommendations to business leaders and stakeholders, and supporting leadership transitions. Dr. Horn’s analytical approach is instrumental in identifying both risks and opportunities for growth across the portfolio.
WM Partners, LP, operates as a private equity firm based in Miami, Florida, specializing in acquiring early-growth businesses in the health and wellness sector, enhancing their value through operational improvements and ultimately transacting them to deliver returns for shareholders. Dr. Horn’s role is central to this mission; he spends much of his time influencing leadership teams and ensuring that each company under the firm’s management achieves its profitability goals.
In addition to his corporate achievements, Dr. Horn has served as a budget officer with the New Jersey Air National Guard since 2019. This assignment has contributed significantly to his discipline and organizational skills.

In this capacity, he led all aspects of financial planning, budgeting and execution. Notably, Dr. Horn’s recruitment to Wellmore Holdings was driven by his notable success at Simple Mills, a leading food and beverage manufacturer based in Chicago, Illinois, from 2024 to 2025 as the company’s vice president of finance. There, he played a pivotal role in preparing the company for a major merger and acquisition event that culminated in its acquisition by Flowers Foods for $800 million.
From 2021 to 2024, Dr. Horn served as a senior finance director at Mars, a manufacturer of numerous brands like M&M’s, Royal Canin and Ben’s Original, where he continued to hone his expertise in managing complex financial operations within a global organization. This role served as a promotion, having come from Mondelez International, another food and beverage company in Chicago, as a finance director between 2020 and 2021.
Dr. Horn’s earlier career included several progressive roles in the beauty industry at L’Oréal between 2016 and 2020, first as the finance director and then as the head of demand planning in 2017, followed by another term as the finance director from 2019 to 2020. During this period, he was part of a transformative leadership team that achieved record sales and market share gains through innovative demand forecasting and operational reinvention. This accomplishment remains one of Dr. Horn’s proudest professional moments.
For five years, Dr. Horn held positions at Nestlé, including sales finance manager from 2011 to 2014, project manager for SAP implementation between 2014 and 2015, and finance manager for financial planning and analysis from 2015 to 2016. He began his career at Unilever with roles ranging from a deduction analyst beginning in 2004, to a senior finance analyst in 2005, an associate finance manager in 2007, followed by an international assignment in Mexico City in 2009, and ultimately as an associate finance manager for marketing finance from 2010 to 2011. The international posting in Mexico proved formative for Dr. Horn’s personal growth and accelerated his career trajectory by exposing him to new perspectives on culture and business.
